Profile - Saska Pratley
Saska is a friendly, positive, enthusiastic person who lights up a room with her energy, warmth and smile. Saska loves seeing people grow and reach their maximum potential - be it in their careers, businesses, or personal lives.
Saska was born in New Zealand and grew up in Malaysia, Singapore, and London. She is a high achiever and has had a successful career in the corporate sector. Saska went to boarding school in Singapore before going to London where she did her LLB(Hons) and LLM at the London School of Economics. She then moved to New Zealand to be close to family and was admitted to the New Zealand bar. After practicing as a solicitor for a few years she was keen to be more directly involved in the world of commerce.
In 2005 Saska entered the world of commercial property as a leasing broker with Colliers International. Working as an exclusive broker for a range of corporate and government clients she thrived in the high-energy, competitive environment. At the same time, she earned her real estate licence, qualifying her to own and operate her own real estate company.
Despite her achievements in the corporate world, Saska had a long-standing desire to use her skills to make a real difference in people's lives. Motivated by the best selling book "Halftime" by Bob Buford, and the concept of half-life reinvention, she moved to Melbourne to start on a parallel career working alongside people who shared her values and vision for mentoring young leaders. At the same time she set up her own property investment company.
Saska is passionate about working with people who are on the same journey of moving from careers of success to careers of lasting significance. She views the inevitable career crossroads as a natural invitation to chart a life plan where there is more to achievements, more to relationships, and more to living a life of purpose. She enjoys working with people who have potential, and who want to achieve a life of maximum impact
Saska loves family life and regularly travels to New Zealand and Malaysia to visit her family. She also uses her legal skills to help with the running and administration of a school for street kids that was set up by her mother in Malaysia. In her spare time she enjoys reading, working out at the gym, and catching up for coffee with friends.
